DHUA Project with Midea, Needed An Acrylic Sheet with High Transparency And Toughness

Project background: When Midea, a leading electrical appliance company, was developing air-conditioning panels, it needed an acrylic sheet with high transparency and toughness. However, the impact resistance and transparency of the highly transparent acrylic sheets on the market did not meet customer requirements, so they found us at DHUA, hoping to solve their problems. 

Solution: Due to the low toughness of conventional acrylic sheets, the panels have weak stretch ability and are easy to break. When the toughness is increased, the transparency will decrease. We have made many improvements to the acrylic raw materials and extrusion process to enhance its toughness without reducing its transparency, and ultimately meet customer standards.
