Acrylic Mirror is a kind of plexiglass mirror, it is softer than a glass mirror and its image may show some natural deformation, which make it unsuitable for high precision optical applications. The larger the acrylic mirror sheet is, the easier it may be deformed. Before purchasing acrylic mirrors, you should first confirm the thickness and size and check if the product is suitable for the purpose of use. Acrylic Mirror Sheets can be cut by laser, CNC router and sawing machine.  Remember they can not be die-cut which will damage the margin of acrylic mirrors.

1. High-quality acrylic mirror sheet has good mirror effect. Place it under the light to check, you will find that its mirror effect is clear, without crystal spots, scratches and other defects.  If the acrylic mirror sheet is made from recycled material, its mirror effect will be blurred, and has many crystal defects.

2. High-quality acrylic mirror sheet has a slight smell during cutting. Poor quality acrylic mirror sheet generates smoke and a pungent taste during cutting.

3. Check the back paint: good back paint is featured with flat and smooth surface, strong adhesion and not easy to get scratched; Poor back paint is weak, easy to be scratched and drop, it will cause light transmission and affect the mirror effect.

4. Check the packaging: Good quality acrylic mirror sheet should be packed with kraft paper, and then packed with wood pallet at least to protect the mirror sheet against damage during transportation.
